Bret specializes in tax planning for businesses, real estate ventures, and their owners.  He has extensive experience working with attorneys and other professionals on buy/sale transactions, as well as representing clients in IRS controversy cases (audit, appeals, and negotiations). 

He started his career with the Atlanta office of Arthur Andersen in 1999 and gradually migrated towards the Marietta business community.  Originally from Houston, TX, Bret spent four years in Michigan attending Hillsdale College, then immediately headed back South.

Bret is a member of the Rotary Club of Marietta, coordinating the club’s involvement in local elementary schools.  Bret and his wife Melissa have three young children, and they are active members of Riverstone Church in Kennesaw.
